Biography

Place of Birth - London
Studied 3D Design at Kingston University - BA (Hons) degree.

Worked for the BBC as a graphic designer alongside journalists servicing News and Current Affairs programmes.

Moved to Hong Kong and worked for Radio Television Hong Kong as a designer, then later returned to the BBC creating title sequences and programme graphics. Worked on the programme Crimewatch and was a part of the Royal Television Society award winning design team for ‘BBC Newsnight’ responsible for the design and implementation of the title sequence.

Fundamentally a designer of storyboards and atmospheres for moving imagery.

PAINTINGS
Varying enormously in subject matter, much of the work is about atmosphere and the unspoken word behind the finished piece. Abstracts, portraits, town and country scenes, animals etc all feature in different works.

PORTRAITS AND FIGURATIVE WORK
The paintings tell their stories in changes and adjustment of style and brush strokes to reveal the personality of a subject and the movement of a figure.

The work, (mainly in oils on canvas and canvas board) is painted in France.
